Merry Christmas

I woke up at 4:30 a.m. and anxiously waited for my children to wake up.  Brad happened to get Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off of work!  YAHOO!  Of course, out of every day, they pick this one to sleep in past 5:30.

WAKE UP!!!!

Ryker's big gift this year was a tractor-trailor set.  Ellie wanted a guitar for her special gift from Santa.

SURPRISE!!!

Santa left their gifts in our "Toy Room" by our Christmas tree.

Ryker loved his tractor to say the least.  Later in the day when it was time for us to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house, he tried dragging it to the car.  Melt Down City!  Brad let him take the pin that connects the tractor and trailer together.  Thank goodness it worked!

The presents underneath the tree were from Mommy and Daddy.

Ellie woke up first so we let her start.  It was nice to have that special time with just her.

She was definitely excited!  Nothing better than seeing their eyes sparkle with happiness!  Being a parent is HANDS DOWN the best "job" in the world!

You make me smile!

Ryker stuffed his trailer FULL!!!  He even used his tractor to deliver presents to Ellie from underneath the tree. :)

Oh Ryker!  You make me laugh!

Their last surprise was this swing set that was waiting for them outside the back door.

Merry Christmas to our amazing children!  We love you so much!

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve we go to my parent's house for dinner and then to Dana and Donna's to celebrate.  My mom let the kids open a few presents.  The girls were beyond excited!

I wasn't sure how Ryker would do opening presents this year.  Needless to say...he didn't want anyone helping him.

But it was okay for him to help Sissy! :)  She's so good to him!

Ryker & Ayken

Grandma found this dog video on Facebook where the dog leaves cookies for Santa and hangs his stocking.  He tries to stay awake to see Santa, but ends up falling asleep.  It was cute, but HOLY COW we had to watch it over and over and over again.  Ryker was a little obsessed!

Grandma Garst with Ellie

We first sang Happy Birthday to Collin and let him open his birthday presents.

Then we moved on to Christmas presents. Ryker was definitely excited for his little trucks.

Even rolling them over Aunt Heather's head. :)

Then Hadley and Brooke decide they are going to sing songs from Brooke and Ellie's Christmas program.  We haven't gotten to see their program yet because it was canceled due to the snow day.  Ellie wouldn't go up, but once the girls started...Ryker backed himself up right next to Brooke and started performing along with them. It was hilarious!

He had to check with Brooke and Hadley to make sure he was doing the right moves. LOL!

Oh Ryker...you make my heart light up!

Thank you EVERYONE for the thoughtful and kind gifts that were given to our children.
We are all so blessed to have you in our lives!

Fun Times

Ryker and Ellie helped me make Puppy Chow.  Mmmm!

Shaking the cereal with the powdered sugar.

SHAVING CREAM!

This time we added a car for Ryker and a dog for Ellie.

This is the perfect activity to do right before baths!

MESSY BABY!

Love his CHEESE!

A Special Visit

On the Sunday before Christmas we celebrated with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bill.  This year they were going to be gone on Christmas day visiting Mike, Phil and Stephanie.  The Tweryon kids also had a special visitor...

The Big Girls

Ryker & Hadley

Aunt Kathy with the girls.

Ryker is Obsessed with TREES!  He is constantly saying, "tree, tree, tree."

Awww Kami!

These two are going to be up to no good when they get older.

Did you hear bells???

SANTA came to visit the kids at Grandma and Grandpa Tweryon's house.

Ellie wouldn't get too close and Ryker wanted nothing to do with this Jolly Ol' Man!

She finally agreed to sit right in front of him. :)

Thank you Santa for the surprise visit!
