Ellie's 1st Haircut

It took Ellie so long to grow her hair back from when it fell out as a baby that I've never gotten it cut.  When I called to make my appointment I also needed a cut along with partial highlights so Kinleigh said she'd cut Ellie's hair while the color sat in mine.  I brought snacks and plenty of things to keep Ellie entertained.

She sat so still that she didn't even close her mouth. :)

I'm not even sure if she blinked. Hehe!

Ellie wanted a few curls so Kinleigh was so kind to make Ellie feel special.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

Ellie was so interested in watching Kinleigh highlight, wash, dry, cut and style my hair.  As Kinleigh was straightening it, Ellie came over and whispered in my ear, "Mom why did she put yellow colors in your hair."  Haha!  Ellie wanted to take a picture of my wacky hair.  We both had a terrific time!  She did so well that I took her to Petsmart to see the animals.  Pictures to come...

Happy Birthday, Ayken!

We celebrated Ayken's 1st Birthday at the Anchor Boat Club on March 21st. We enjoyed pizza, cupcakes, watching Addie open Ayken's presents while he played with the paper :) and playing on their playground outside.  What a perfect spring day to celebrate a birthday!

My Buddies!

Happy Birthday, Ayken! We love you so very much!

Ayken is such a sweet boy!

I'm already walking!!!

He wasn't so sure about everyone singing!

Can you guess by looking at the wrapping paper who this present came from?

Messy baby!

Where did they come from???

Addalyn digging in the dirt.

Ryker doesn't exactly like when I put him down on the concrete.

He bear crawls to get where he needs to go.  Truly doesn't have any interest in walking.  He can walk along anything holding on, but doesn't have the courage to let go quite yet.

Handsome

Ryker's going to follow in his Daddy's footsteps and become a police officer.  He caught Ayken drinking and driving and wasn't having any of it.

You're not going anywhere! :)

Just Hanging Around

Patti and Bill took the girls to the Rochester Intermediate School playground by their house. The girls had fun hanging like monkeys.  Brooke was the only one who hung all by herself!

Ryker loving the four wheeler.

That face could make anyone smile!

Mmmmm!

I ran to a couple stores during Ryker's nap time.  Ellie skipped her nap and played outside with Daddy.  Brad filled up a tub for Ellie's baby doll.  Of course after Ryker woke up he needed to play in it too.

I wondered how long it would take him to get in!

"BUDDY!"

Next Ellie says, "Can I get in, too?"

I LOVE SPRING WEATHER!!!

St. Patrick's Day

We started off St. Patrick's day at 11:00 for a picnic with friends and cupcakes for Brooke's 4th Birthday.  Then about 11:50 a teenage girl thought it would be appropriate to stand right in front of toddlers and young children to watch the parade and collect candy.  WRONG SISTER!  Heather and Brian didn't arrive at 10:30 for nothing.  Bill dog, Heather, Brian and a lady sitting next to us had to take charge.  Stomping feet led the teenage out of our area.  GO PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!!! :)

My precious children!

Such a HAM!

Happy Birthday to my miracle niece!  You've inspired us all and changed our lives for the better.  We love you so very much!

Grandma and Ayken

Ellie's absolute favorite part about this parade...dogs with APL.  If it were up to her, we'd adopt them all. :)

Ellie stood on the white line and hardly moved.  She's anything but agressive and certainly didn't try very hard to get any candy.  About half way through the parade she needed to use the porta potty.  Rewind...after the kids got done with their picnic, Grandma Patti took the girls over to pet a puppy.  This puppy, named Mouse, was growing up to be a service dog for her grandson that's mostly deaf.  Fast forward...while standing in line to use the bathroom she spotted Mouse laying in the same spot under a shade tree. She wanted nothing more than to sit with him during the parade...petting him over and over again.  Sis, I promise you once Ryker starts wearing underwear...I will get you a puppy.  Today she said..."Mom when Ryker gets in underwear can we get a bird too." Haha!

Ryker and I were going back and forth saying, "Mmmmm!"

Jessi and Mark had a St. Patrick's party at their house.  Everyone brought a side dish and enjoyed dinner and dessert.  We had an absolute blast playing...Headbands, Charades and Flippy Cup.

Heeeeey!

We are so thankful that we have parents that love watching our children.  Adult nights are definitely needed and best of all we have fabulous friends to spend them with.  These nights will never be forgotten!
