St. Patrick's Day

We started off St. Patrick's day at 11:00 for a picnic with friends and cupcakes for Brooke's 4th Birthday.  Then about 11:50 a teenage girl thought it would be appropriate to stand right in front of toddlers and young children to watch the parade and collect candy.  WRONG SISTER!  Heather and Brian didn't arrive at 10:30 for nothing.  Bill dog, Heather, Brian and a lady sitting next to us had to take charge.  Stomping feet led the teenage out of our area.  GO PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!!! :)

My precious children!

Ellie's absolute favorite part about this parade...dogs with APL.  If it were up to her, we'd adopt them all. :)

Ellie stood on the white line and hardly moved.  She's anything but agressive and certainly didn't try very hard to get any candy.  About half way through the parade she needed to use the porta potty.  Rewind...after the kids got done with their picnic, Grandma Patti took the girls over to pet a puppy.  This puppy, named Mouse, was growing up to be a service dog for her grandson that's mostly deaf.  Fast forward...while standing in line to use the bathroom she spotted Mouse laying in the same spot under a shade tree. She wanted nothing more than to sit with him during the parade...petting him over and over again.  Sis, I promise you once Ryker starts wearing underwear...I will get you a puppy.  Today she said..."Mom when Ryker gets in underwear can we get a bird too." Haha!

Ryker and I were going back and forth saying, "Mmmmm!"

Jessi and Mark had a St. Patrick's party at their house.  Everyone brought a side dish and enjoyed dinner and dessert.  We had an absolute blast playing...Headbands, Charades and Flippy Cup.

Heeeeey!

We are so thankful that we have parents that love watching our children.  Adult nights are definitely needed and best of all we have fabulous friends to spend them with.  These nights will never be forgotten!
