Easter 2012

Ellie loves her brother so much!

The next couple blogs are going to be short and sweet.  Why you ask?  They happened so long ago that I truly can't remember, in detail, the ordered of events.

My beautiful children!

The Easter Bunny hid eggs in our living room.

Can you guess what's inside?  MONEY!

Ellie filled Ryker's Piggy bank so he wouldn't choke. Thanks Sis!

Ellie sorting her eggs by color. The Easter Bunny gave her pink, purple and green eggs.  Ryker got orange, yellow and blue.

This is why my dad should NEVER go into photography!  :)

My Loves!

After we had Easter morning at our house, we went over to my mom and dad's for lunch.

Once Addie and Ayken arrived, Grandma Connie gave the girls their Easter surprise.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for all my wonderful surprises!  We love you so much!

As I'm typing this blog, it's funny to see Ryker with a paci in his mouth.  He has officially taken himself off of his pacifer! It's hard to believe that he gets MAD when I try putting one in his mouth.  Ryker was sick for two out of three weeks with croup, tonsilitis (sp?) and what I believe was hand, foot and mouth disease (rash, fever, fussy, blisters on his feet).  Even though I didn't see any sores inside his mouth, something inside (other than his three molars) were hurting him.  He wanted nothing to do with a paci and still doesn't. At 12 months Ellie took herself off of the bottle and at 13 months Ryker hates his Paci's. I'LL TAKE IT!!!!!!!!  It was not fun taking the paci away from Ellile at age 2 so I'm thrilled!

Also at 13 months, Ryker is officially walking EVERYWHERE! Lately, he's been "trying" to chase his sister.  Ellie said she's so glad he can finally walk (May 2012)

I love Addie's smile! She was trying so hard. :)

Buddy opening his Easter Surprise

The boys were on their own agendas (one napping right after the other) so we weren't able to see them open their baskets together.

Handsome little Buddy!

Daddy "trying" to help Ellie ride her bike! The girl definitely gets frustrated! She doesn't like to be told what to do! (YES...Sounds just like her Mommy)
Ellie did much better working with Grandpa. Bill we might be bringing her over for some lessons. :)

Ryker loved watching the chicks.

Buddy getting an Easter Egg

The boys went outside and hid a bunch of eggs while we kept the girls occupied inside.  Each girl was given a different color.  They also had two special colors that anyone could grab. Grandma filled the eggs with all kinds of fun things...candy, money, mini fingenail polish, tattoos and more.
