Never a Dull Moment!!!

I found a new recipe for making baked cheese sticks.  Looked amazing and much healthier than fried cheese sticks.  When you see the picture below you can tell they look nothing like the picture that I saw. LOL!!! And those are fish sticks on the left side....the cheese sticks didn't work.

The recipe was so easy.  I didn't feel as bad when I read the blog over again and the same thing happened to several other people.

We cut a noodle in half to make a bat and a balloon for a ball. Hey, batter...batter!

She actually did really good hitting the balloon.  Ryker did really good hitting his sister! :)

Trying her hardest to blow up a balloon.

Alphabet hunt around our house.

She didn't last very long before she wanted to do something else.

Sorry Buddy!

XOXO

You would make a pretty girl!
Poor buddy got in a fight with our fire place.  Guess who won?
He fell over in Ellie's princess chair right into the corner of the fire place.

Hads took Ryker on a unforgetable ride.  Hang on buddy!

Parked the vehicles

All the kids have a blast jumping on Grandma and Grandpa Tweryon's trampoline.

He loves sitting in things! So funny!

He thinks he's so big!

Ryker loves taking water out of the water table to give to Ellie's bean plants.  Speaking of bean plants, Ellie's didn't make it because of the hot and dry weather.  When I told her why, she replied with...why didn't we just bring them inside if it was too hot.  Well...that would have been a great idea about 3 months ago.  I just love when my 3 year old has better ideas than myself.

Good Deed...Gone Bad! LOL!

I was on my way to Patti and Bill's house to get Ellie and Ryker.  I didn't make it far when I spotted a turtle on Rochester Road.  I decided to turn around and figure out some way to take it to "The Tweryon Farm" for the girls to see.  Once I got out of my car I realized how big the turtle actually was and it didn't exactly look friendly either.  I tried to talk to him...Come on turtle.  Come here!  You can do it!  Haha!!! I'm such an idiot. He was actually getting pretty ticked off.  I called my dad to come and bring a tote or box; however,  I knew I'd be waiting for a while (Bob isn't exactly fast to say the least...I mean R E A L L Y   S L O W!) so I found a stick and tried to get him to move to the side.  That S.O.B. snapped at me like I was going to be his lunch.  I don't think I've ever jumped so high.  A truck pulled up next to me and asked if I needed help (It was Mr. Spengler).  He picked him right up and moved him off the road.  He made it look so easy.  Still waiting on my Dad...(man Bill could have been here and back by now) UGH! :) God help him or me if there's ever a TRUE EMERGENCY!  He finally made it and threw the turtle in the tote.  Goodness Gracious Dad!  He could have been a little more gental!!!  At this time, Brad calls so I run home to get him...Happy Father's Day!  I got you a snapping turtle.

After the girls watched and tormented this turtle, we decided to let him go.  We walked next to Emmit's house to the pond...hoping this turtle wouldn't make it back to Bill's house.  Someone had a great idea of LAUNCHING him to the pond since there was a very steep hill before reaching the water.  Brad ends up trying to launch this turtle and definitely doesn't get enough umph.  LOL!!! That poor turtle lands upright, but upside down against a corn stalk.  GREAT!  Now this turtle is going to FRY in the 100 degree heat. I felt awful!!! He probably would have been better off in the street.  Several hours later we went back and weren't able to find him.  I'm hoping that mean't he freed himself.

Staying Cool

Thanks Pinterest for all the neat ideas!

FROZEN LIZARDS AND BUGS!

The red hammer wasn't working very well so I got Daddy's real hammer.

Ellie even loved eating the ice that she chipped off.

I swear it took me longer to blow-up this pool than my precious children even wanted to play in it.

Sand is definitely a big hit with Ellie.

Snacking and Playing

One HOT Summer!

Most of our summer was spent at Knight's Action Park this summer.  With the hot temperatures and no rain, it has felt very refreshing in the pool.

Ellie is finally getting her whole body in the water and walking on her hands.  It only took her three years to feel comfortable doing this. Love you Ellie!

Ryker enjoyed sitting on the whale.

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO COOPERATE FOR A PICTURE!!!

He also loved sitting here on the submarine.

Wave Pool.  Ellie doesn't have a dare devil bone in her body. She could easily sit in this water.

Ryker definitely wasn't a big fan of the tubes.

Ellie's first time going down thg "BIG GIRL" slides.

Of course by day 3 of doing these slides, I accidentally missed her when she was coming down the slide because there was commotion going on when Hadley was holding Brody down the slide.  Poor Ellie went totally under and was scared to death.  The look of terror on her face when I grabbed her was enough to make me tear up.  Needless to say, she wants NOTHING to do with the slides again.  Mother of the Year Award...Right Here!

Play Date with Brookie!

Brooke was a little upset that Hadley had play dates so she asked if she could do a play date at our house without her Mommy. :)  Absolutely!!!  When Brooke first arrived the girls wanted to paint and glitter.  My mom came and took Ryker which was so helpful! Thanks Mom!

Next was Play-Doh

Brooke's beauitful heart.

The girls decided to play dress-up and put on make-up.

LOL!!!!!  Brooke loves the layers.
