Father's Day

On Father's day morning, The kids and I went over to our Uncle Rich's to celebrate Father's Day while Brad went to bed (just getting off of work).

These four are onry when it comes to pictures!

We LOVE our Papa Bob!

I made a photo album for Brad, my Dad and Bill for Father's Day.  Each album is filled with pictures of them and their grandchildren.  Special memories captured on camera!

Ryker found Uncle Rich's tractors.

Afterwards, we went home to give Daddy his special gift.

Daddy, words can not explain how lucky we ALL are to have you in our lives!  You mean the world to us!
We Love You!

This little girl wants to wrestle her Daddy!

I'm not quite sure where pictures are from Bill and Patti's house.  We headed over to their house next to spend Father's day with them. Surely I took some??? I will continue searching! I do know that I am missing one memory card from March! So frustrating!

Happy Father's Day to three AMAZING men in my life....Brad, Dad and Bill! We are blessed to have each one of you in our lives!  Love You!

Summer Rec...Riverside Horse Stables

First at Riverside Stables they showed us a clean stable that the Vets use when they come to visit a horse.  Each owner  has a special wooden "trunk" that stores their equipment, bug spray, medicine etc.  The owner was the first speaker and lets just say...wasn't the best speaker around little ones.  She kept saying "Jacking Around." Courtney and I just kept looking at one another! :)

Courtney and I couldn't get over how scary this horse looked!  We couldn't stop laughing!!!

Each child got to give the horse a special treat.

We learned about different horse shoes.

Here is a horse tooth!  They had a bag full of "clean" horse teeth to show the children.

Each child got to saddle the horse with a little assistance.

Ellie rode the horse one time; however, others rode three times.  She chose not to because her belly was bothering her.  THIS GIRL REFUSES TO EAT BREAKFAST! Rrrrrr!

Next, they were able to brush the horses.

We even got flavored ice and got to go on a hay rack ride.

Ellie loving on the horse.

This girl loves cats too! Not sure where that came from. :) This will definitely be a summer rec program we will sign up for again next summer (if it's available).  We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Water Fun

Splash Park
Ryker needed me to fill up his bucket several times before he would try it on his own.  Ellie sat on the side with water in her bucket rather than running through the water. Where do these two come from???

Ryker is loading his dump truck with clean clothes from the laundry basket.

Daddy was pushing Ryker all over the house in his dump truck.

Ryker thought he would try to push Sissy.

Summer Rec...The FARM

I signed us up for the farm in Rochester.  We ended up getting our own private tour since the other two didn't show up.  The first thing we did was lay out the hay for the horse's bed.  The kids were able to help as well.  Ellie wasn't too thrilled about touching it. :)

Then we got to watch her bring in one horse.  The two horses that are kept in the stables are on special diets because they were gaining a little too much weight; therefore, they weren't allowed out in the pasture with the others. :(

Both were able to pet the horse.

As we were walking along her husband happened to pull up in a HUGE tractor.  RYKER loves tractors so this was a perfect opportunity.  They were so kind and asked if we wanted to take the kids inside it. Neither wanted anything to do with it.  I know they were a little skeptical of the Farmer that was driving it.

Next, they were able to give the cows a special treat.

We met their three pigs and gave them raisons.

We watched one get a drink while the other was cooling off with the water sprinkling on him.
The Farmer had chicken feed that she needed to mix with water...wanting the kids to do it.  Lets just say my kids (usually) want nothing to do with getting their hands messy. Neither offered to help so Dad stepped up.  They've both been around chickens before, but NEVER inside their chicken coop.  Both were very hesitant!  Ryker was brave enough to go in and get an egg; however, didn't make it far before dropping it.  The chickens were in heaven!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Ellie told Grandma Patti that she really wanted to get Daddy a motorcycle for his birthday because she knows he wants one, but she told grandma not to say anything because her Mommy doesn't want him to have one. SMART GIRL!  So this is the perfert motorcycle with Daddy on it....NOW we get to keep our Daddy safe and sound without getting hurt on a REAL MOTORCYCLE! WE LOVE YOU TOO MUCH!

The big girls are going with Grandma Patti to some High School Graduations.

Her Arrangement!

EVERY time I do the laundry...Ryker either A.  Puts on all of Ellie's underwear (like in the picture). B. Throws it EVERYWHERE. C. Finds a washcloth or towel to chew on.  HOWEVER, he just started helping me put his clothes away.  Great way for him to learn top, middle and bottom (he's able to put his pajamas in the middle drawer and shorts in the top drawer).  My buddy's getting so smart!
Ellie absolutely LOVES baking; however, it has to be with HER OWN INGREDIENTS!  She could pour, add and stir all day long if I'd let her.  She also loves baking it in the oven and making everyone else try it.  I wonder why she doesn't ever taste it?!?! :)

Easter picture that was forgotten.  Too cute not to add!

Brad and the kids love running from Izzie.  They start in our bedroom and run to Ellie's room.  Then Brad holds on to Izzie to give the kids a head start.  Finally, he releases her while they all run and dive for our bed.

These kids can get enough of tackling!
Daddy Time!

We hope you had a fun birthday, Daddy! We love you to the moon and back! You're the BEST!

Making Beads for Bracelets and Necklaces
We had to take two different colors and twist them together.  Then you were suppose to place it underneath the "machine" and spin the top in a circular motion.  It swirls the colors together!
Ryker was trying to do one all by himself.
Ellie's cool bead.

All of the beads that were made are on this blue drying rack.  Now they have to dry before we can make them into bracelets and necklaces.
I can't help, but laugh every time I see these pictures! It was so darn cute and funny!

Grandma and Ellie went to the Rochester High School Promenade!  It's always a fun time to get dressed up and watch the "fancy" girls.  Ellie loves looking at their dresses, shoes, hair and we can't forget the accessories!

Thanks Grandma for taking me! The other girls were out of town. :(

Ellie and I always have a fun time getting her all dolled up for these special occassions!
